After weighing different options about what to do this summer, we finally decided we definitely wouldn`t stay at home.
The original plan was of course to DO stay at home and save up for our 2011 Route 66 adventure. But now that summer is almost here, and the weather looks to be better than last year, we had second thoughts.

Normally, we attempt to book as early as possible and preferably before January. So when searching for alternatives for the summer, we didn`t really see us getting quite what we wanted. But we did! :)

My holiday starts on a friday and the following sunday night we`re off to Kristiansand and the ferry to Denmark early monday morning! Some sights and a bit of shopping later, we`ll be ready for check-in at Jesperhus Blomsterpark. (www.jesperhus.dk) where we`ll be staying for a glorious week of water park and cabin fun!

Just this morning, we got en email confirmation from Hjørring hostel that they have reserved a small cabin with a bathroom and kitchenette for us for our last 2 nights in Denmark before we ferry home to spend the remainder of our vacation in Norway. This last part of the holiday is still a little sketchy, we`ve only a rough idea on what we want to do so far.
