This is it! In about an hour we`re leaving for the airport. Just hope we`ve remembered everything we were going to bring. Which isn`t much. Tickets, print-outs from the web, such as vouchers and receipts and our passports. And very little else. This is the wife`s biggest worry. She, who normally packs for a trip to Antarctica just for a weekend stay at her sisters, is suffering bigtime at the moment. I have sat my foot down (yes I was able to do it this once) and said we will only bring two changes of clothes and do our shopping in Florida for the rest.
But still, our first flight leaves at 11. Route is as follows: Stavanger- Oslo-Reykjavik-Orlando. We`ll be at Stavanger airport appr. 2 hrs before, and with my luck, we will probably be stuck at Sanford airport in Orlando another two hours at the end of the trip.
I just hope it doesn`t involve a flashlight, a pair of rubber gloves and a customs officer with a slight sadistic tendency.
If everything goes according to plan we`ll be at Sanford 9PM local time (3 AM thursday CET) and find our condo without any hassle. But for those who know me this is rarely the case when I travel. So wish us good luck.
