I`m really close to developing gills.

Weather this summer has been wet, to say the least. Even the farmers must be sick of it. Shops that peddle umbrellas and rain gear are doing great, those selling bikinis or ice cream struggle. When rain is horizontal and gangs up with the wind to soak every last fibre of your clothes, it can`t be good for tourism either.

Staying indoors for the most part certainly saves spending money, but is really boring. My outdoors adventures so far has been restricted to checking my letterbox, (Luckily, it`s just 10 feet from the door.) hurrying from the car to the mall to stock up on necessary groceries, and hurrying back to the car when the cart is full.

If we`ve had a full day of reasonably good weather (rain free), I must have missed it. A couple of days have started out promising, but as soon as we chance venturing outside the weather gods do their worst. Thor must carry a serious grudge.

For 2010, Orlando is looking better and better. At least the rain there stops every now and then. And temperatures call for shorts and tees, not wellies and raincoats.

I guess that`s why floridians are nice, polite and smile a lot.

As for my opinion about the weather?
We need someone able and willing to do a sun dance, stat !
